It's Fire Prevention Week!

This week, take a few minutes to make sure your family knows the basics:

  • Test your smoke alarms and make sure to change the batteries every six months.
  • Plan and practice a fire escape route.
  • While cooking, don’t leave flames unattended. Turn handles inward on the stove to prevent accidents
  • Clean your gutters, and keep vegetation low around your home in case of a wildfire.

A few simple steps can help protect your home and loved ones. Let’s work together to stay fire-safe!
